As I dropped the children off at school this morning I was transported back in time to yesteryear when I hated Physical Education with a massive amount of passion.
This morning it was very frosty. I had to scrape the ice off the car windows before we set off to school. All three of us were bundled up in our gloves,hats and big winter coats.
I took the children into the playground a couple of minutes past 9am and was slightly appalled to see a circle of older children seated in a semi-circle on the ground in their shorts and t-shirts being barked at by the PE teacher about how they were to stop moaning about how cold it was. Poor things. Not the best way to instill a lifelong love of exercise and keeping fit.
